Steelflex Roundslings are made from steel galvanized aircraft cable wound in an endless configuration. GAC slings (galvanized aircraft cable) are common in the entertainment industry because of their 400 degree F temperature rating. This allows the Steelflex to perform without worrying about special effects or pyro. The wire core is protected by a black double-wall, polyester jacket, and an inspection window is built into the Steelflex roundsling for easy identification of wear or corrosion. This helps keep rigging inventory up to date and in safe, working order.
